The restrooms are 24 hours. No where else have I found this at a public beach. Great bike paths and night views on thr water. Great lighting for safety at night as well.
Great beach for kids! Gentle waves if any at all, nice sand beach, and playgrounds. Highly recommend!
Lots of mountain biking, hiking and equine trails. Be courteous and don't use trails until 12 hrs after rains.
It is flat. If you plan to be on foot, you better intend to jog. Walking here is boring. Good for bikes.

Mission Bay Park is an excellent park for kids. Plenty of swings and slides with lots of space to play, fly kites and enjoy a picnic.
Mission Bay Park is great for walking, running, skating, & probably the best place for kite flying in San Diego. Our kids love the large playground south of the Hilton. Pack a picnic & enjoy the day.
