Go right before it opens on a Friday morning and listen to the bells as they chime and the doors are finally opened. Then absorb the calming atmosphere of the botanical garden.
It's only peaceful and quiet during the week. They tend to be crowded on the weekends.
The inside has lots of neat plants, but could use some upkeep. The outside is peaceful with performers and lots of grassy spots to relax.
Serene and peaceful downtown retreat...just not on game days.
Nice peaceful place to take a stroll..(non game day) the sun was particularly shiny so I enjoyed a relaxing 20mins on the grass taking in the view of Petco Stadium 👌🏼
Great place to catch a game with the family. Or just a spot to chill when the Friars aren't in town.

Free Wi-Fi, super dog-friendly, great staff, cozy rooms, and really comfortable beds. Parking structure is close by, but you can use the bike for free or walk around.

The first irrigation project on the west coast. Part of Mission Trails Park and just down the hill from Cowles Mt, anjoy hike through the natural vegetation & the beauty of the adjacent Mission Gorge.

Love this hotel! Great location and with the trolley station right there. Ask for a room with a view to the dog park and Main Entrance of the hotel, they are quieter.
Great location. Refurbished large rooms. Good beds and enough storage for clothes and toiletries. Rooms opposite convention center are quieter: no trains.
Trails fairly overgrown as compared with the main reserve. Best during winter when the rattlesnakes are hibernating. Some stunning views off the western ridge. Great for peace & quiet. Do it!

In the mornings it’s a bit quiet. Came about 10am and it seemed businesses were just opening. Not sure if it was because Veterans Day? 🤷🏻♂️ try evening.
Appetizers (hummus,babaganoush etc) and salad were quiet good. Ayran (yogurt drink) is really good for USA.Kebap was ok but they should use more fat in meat.Friendly owner and reasonable price! 7,9/10
