Afternoon tea for two, with champagne was lovely. Had the 100 anniversary tea...loved the florals and warm scones :) The Pear finger sandwich was my favorite.

Great spot! I’ve been going since it was the Rat N Raven,Coyote Club and in its current incarnation. The 2 constants are a great patio and great beer selection.

The service was amazing. The waiter was very knowledgable and personable. The Pates Frites were amazing, but be warned, it is more than two people can handle!
Hate to be this guy, but it's the truth: whoever the chef is could cook up human limbs and I'd still chow down. Incredibly delicious!!!

Try the Nick's Way Carne Asada Taco - Appropriately named and tasty. Soft tortilla around a crispy tortilla. Guac is excellent.
If you've never left the Marina you might think this is a taqueria.

Skip the formal dining and head upstairs to the lounge. Comfortable seating with a full menu, excellent service, and live jazz. Try the braised brussel sprouts or anything with crab.
Nice hotel at the heart of Union Square. Friendly, accommodating staff. Starbucks across the street. Amazing views. 24hr fitness center!

An easy breezy Castro-bordering spot to rely on for a solid, sometimes rather inventive, cocktail. Blackbird has super-nice bartenders, and a fun-loving mixed crowd that rarely gets out of control.

Lovely place for brunch. They have a great variety, impossible not to find something tasty. Especially the huevos rancheros are to die for!
vegan? try the mac n cheese. it isn't vegan, but it tastes really good and you should reevaluate your poor life choice anyway.

From the street, enter Macy’s and go up to The Cheesecake Factory, via elevator or escalators. The restaurant has an outdoor area where you can take great overhead photos of Union Square.
