Park at the south parking lot and walk to the center field to let dogs run around. Follow multiple trails down to the beach!
If it's a sunny day during the weekend, avoid trying to park by the playground. You are better off parking by the landing. You'll enjoy the enjoy the walk to the beach!
On nice days get there early or you'll be parking down by Ray's.

Good spot for jogging. Usually filled with other super-healthy runners ... Pretty busy even on a Saturday morning ... although I have managed to find parking, except for when they have rowing events
The trials are good but I don't like the parking, it is always crowded.
Inner path around the lake is about 2.79 miles. Beautiful place to jog whether it's sunny or cloudy, but expect sunny weekend days to be quite busy with lots and kids and animals on the trail.
Nice selection of beer + extensive tap list. They feature food trucks on the weekends.
I would recommend drinking a beer.

Free Sunday boat rides and free parking!
Beautiful vantage point for South Lake Union, especially at sunset. The boats and boat workshop add interesting features. Need to go back and explore more!
Free boat rides every Sunday rain or shine! Sign ups start at 10:00 am and first boats go out about 12:00pm with last boats heading out at 4:00pm. As always, the coffee is on and it's also free.

Fantastic museum both from what they have and how it's presented. This museum is even better than the Smithsonian. An entire day could easily be spent here.

Walk across the open skyway to the parking area going over Western Avenue. It's a nice photo opp of the Puget Sound.

It's a long hike to the lighthouse from general parking. All uphill back. Closest lot is by Daybreak Cultural Center. Permit parking and 2 handicap spaces only at bottom of drive near lighthouse.
Park on the South side(Magnolia) to avoid paying for parking. Space is limited, but nothing beats free!
Park on the North side of the locks at Commodore Park. It's less crowded so it's easier to find parking and you can easily walk across the locks to enjoy the garden and museum on the other side.
Great place for a lazy weekend stroll. Weekdays are quietest time to visit. Check out the Salmon ladder viewing. Parking on Ballard side is mostly metered. Limited free parking on the Magnolia side
