Sushi Restaurant · SoHo · 294 tips and reviews
Lydia Y: This is one of the best sushi restaurants I have eaten in in all of New York City. So fresh and tasty and fast service. Open-style rolling is my favorite. A recommended restaurant for sushi and rolls.
naveen: the blue ribbon roll is fantastic, as expected. you can't go wrong with the marriage of lobster, shiso and black caviar. take your time eating it. then order up another roll.
The Corcoran Group: Well worth the wait (and you'll need to wait since they don't take reservations). The service is impeccable and the sushi is extremely fresh and tasty.

@JaumePrimero: Go for a cocktail. The white linen is really tasty: gin, cucumber, fresh black pepper.
naveen: the drawing room is one of my favorite quiet spaces in the neighborhood. it's great for a catchup over tea or drinks. if it's nice out, you can also pop into the inner courtyard.
HotelChatter: Order the bacon-wrapped dates in the restaurant/bar. Celeb stylist Rachel Zoe uses this hotel as her NYC base, and the Tribeca Film Fest loves the private screening room. Read more.

Risa: Still some of the best late night eats in NYC. Over the last 10 yrs, I've come here post-theater, post-nightclub, post-anything (even post-dinner!) just for their bone marrow w oxtail marmalade.
Seth G: Got to try the marrow it's like heaven in your mouth.
Marianna Vitoroulis: On both my visits to Blue Ribbon Brasserie i left quite spoiled by the delightful food and the topnotch service! Bone marrow with oxtail marmelade and the raw seafood bar are winners all around!

American Restaurant · Hudson Square · 205 tips and reviews
Veronica Y: The grilled salmon w/ 2 market sides is a great deal (and delicious)
Jen Berg: Biggest and brightest Westville location, same great menu. The Cobb is my go-to. Lemon dill dressing is out of this world. Side of fries to boot!
Alberto Mann: Oh and bring your Bose noise canceling headphones. Babies everywhere. Sounds like a bunch of dying pterodactyls in here.

Alana: Very cool decor, like the inside of a yacht. Good service, good restaurant week menu. Amazing desserts. Pricey. Interesting mix of cool crowd (obviously, Soho) and suits.

HuffPost: A definite HuffPost favorite, make sure to order the yellowtail jalapeno roll and ask for the Bash Burger (it's delicious). For dessert, ice cream sandwiches. Read more.
7. Sadelle's

463 W Broadway (btwn Prince & Houston St), New York, NY
Bagel Shop · SoHo · 192 tips and reviews
Tabi Yoo: The House Salmon and Whitefish Salad are a must. Also loved the Matzo Ball Soup. Get a Sticky Bun on your way out for a delicious and sweet midday snack!
Bin Yang: Bagels are small, lox is pricy, but it's quite the bagel sandwich. Get a everything 2.0 bagel, chives cream cheese, lox, and all the veges!
Noah Weiss: Sadele's elevates bagels to the next level: price ($16), taste (everything 2.0 is perfectly spiced), condiments (tower of tomatoes, capers, cucumbers), and atmosphere (feels like Meatpacking).
8. Emmett's
8.8
50 Macdougal St (btwn Prince St and Houston St), New York, NY
Pizzeria · SoHo · 115 tips and reviews
Natalie V: The best and maybe only deep dish in NYC, reminds me of home sweet home Chicago.
Neal Groothuis: Actual, proper Chicago-style deep dish and a good beer selection (including several Goose Island beers). Definitely recommended.
Lenny Gallo: Hmm, being from Chicago, this is a hard one. The sauce is great, but the crust is too thick/hard and the toppings were sparse. New Yorkers, don't judge deep-dish pizza based on this place-mediocre.

Rory Doehring: Really enjoyed people watching from the front window. Great place to sit and get some work done.
Noah Weiss: A cozy French cafe with chocolate chip cookies and a great Toby's Estate cappuccino. If you're hungry, get their toast with garlic scramble eggs. Free wifi, mamannyc is the password.
Geoffroy Bablon: This beautiful coffeeshop & bakery also serves sandwiches and quiche. Borrow their copy of the NYT and read it at one of the tables in the airy back section while you drink your coffee.
13. Osteria Morini
8.7
218 Lafayette St (btwn Kenmare & Spring St), New York, NY
Italian Restaurant · SoHo · 301 tips and reviews
Village Voice: It's hard to go wrong with a toothsome pasta filled with truffled mascarpone, in a silky rich butter sauce, but they do it best here. The cappelletti with a sprinkle of prosciutto is the way to go.
The Corcoran Group: Michael White does it again! This spot isn't nearly as expensive as his other upscale restaurants, but the pasta is exceptional. Must order dishes: the lamb crostini, cappelletti, & any of the gelati.
naveen: sit at the bar. start with a negroni. maybe two. listen to the specials. definitely get spiedini. definitely get the gramigna. definitely get the cappelletti. definitely finish with gelato/afogato.

Gillian BenAry: chef is Andrew Carmellini. Totally packed, so reservations are essential. Killer wine list, great raw bar, fantastic food and stellar people watching. A good place to feel the energy of NY. Open late
Time Out New York: Try the little oyster sandwiches. Sesame-speckled buns each cradle one fat, crispy mollusk, iceberg lettuce and a smear of pickled okra sauce. They’re one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011. Read more.
Anna Frenkel: pretty awful experience with the staff here; servers and manager. if you care about being treated like a human being when at a restaurant, don't come here.
