The best chicken rice. Salted egg yolk is very tasty and different.
The hainanese chicken rice is great! Try the ayam goreng for an alternative. The silken tofu is yummy too.
Delicious beef with egg yolk. Mmmm.
The chicken crackling and pork belly skewers go very well with the red rice ale. Also try the silky, soft eggplant skewer with just the right hint of sweetness.
Food was great! Loved the yakitori - chicken cracking lamb shoulder is a must. Spicy tuna and pigs ear tataki, yebisu, Tsukune, and gooey chocolate!
Yellow fin tuna is a must, and the carrot salad is simply the best ever!
Give the cured & cultured experience (i.e. at the bar) a miss. The food is just okay.
Great views of the Opera House. Try to get the Tasting menu at Cured and Cultured. One of the best high end dining values in the city!

Best Wagyu Beef in town. Best Japanese BBQ Buffet. It's expensive but you pay for good food. Well worth the money. Not for the cheap skate.
Try the bbq wagyu beef and if you want have a cheaper want go to the lunch try the BBQ bento box...
Awesome food and experience
There are two tasting menus which are good value. We had the $65 tasting and there was plenty of food. We particularly enjoyed the kingfish, kangaroo tartare, chicken and the yuzu dessert to finish.

The seating was perfect with a view on the bridge and the opera. The four course menu was really good and just enough. You can also order drinks from the bar. Service was superb! 🥂
2nd time here - 4 course the confit salmon could be better, partridge consommé was really enjoyable, mahi mahi was pleasant, mascarpone dessert was a highlight

New pop-up ramen bar cum cafe cum bike workshop tucked into a Newtown back-street. Friendly staff & good food.

Make sure you leave the afternoon free. You'll be eating for at least 3 hours :D Then you'll need a looooong nap :)
Excellent food topped by the friendly, attentive service. Especially liked the moreton bugs in xo sauce, the kingfish entree and the deep-fried flathead.
We had the degustation and sat outside. Rookie error! It was windy and the food turned cold as soon as it came. Service was friendly but could improve a little in terms of attentiveness.

Get the salt and pepper squid, it's the real deal. Also the XO mud crab is delicious.
Peking duck, beef tartare, salt and pepper squid, beef vermicelli noodles, venison puffs from the fried platters... Too much to name. If you are authentic Chinese, go back to Chinatown :)
