Great place to carb up on New Year's Eve before running NYRR's Emerald Nuts Run! tho bit far from start. Veg plate w/ double Mac'n cheese + candied yams + other side = perfect ratio. Excellent mass/$.
Tried Jerk chicken, candied yam, and collard greens. Everything was delicious and I especially loved the yam. The dining is really dark and the waitress messed up the order but I enjoyed the food!
Don't sleep on the jerk shrimp! Also, always get the candied yams with mac & cheese.

Don't do a full meal for intermission. Not enough time to chat and eat. Do a drink and dessert. Second intermission is more intimate.
