Mike Reid: Had several tacos here. The carnitas, the carne asada and the shredded beef Very nice. Even sampled the breakfast burrito. I'm a taco snob and these people are pretty good.
Harper Wentz: They have good slow cooked pork and beef. I liked the three tacos with carnitas, it was very good
Rhea S.: Chicken Tacos! With Rice, Pico, Black beans, Peppers/Onions.

Mimi Nguyen: Reminds me of the hole in the wall places I'd find back in Orange County. Loved the lengua, carnitas, fish tacos, and breakfast burritos!
Monty Hill: Great little find. Spinach quesadillas are the way to go!

Amy: The carnitas and the al pastor...omfg.
Mike Reid: AUTHENTIC stuff here. Scratch made corn tortilla. The tacos were super moist and well-seasoned. The carnitas, chicken, shimp, al pastor, and canitas w/pineapple. Loved 'em all!
Lenny Teh: Recommend any of the sopes and the street tacos especially the el pastor, chicken, and barbacoa ones. Try them with a habanero margarita.

Lorena Ruiz Domínguez: We were 3 people and shared 2 starters, the guacamole and the queso fundido con chorizo mejicano. 2 of us shared a huarache al pastor and then I had a Gordita de carnitas, a bit greasy but so good!
Ana Bautista: Chile relleno was excellent and the nacho chips with red salsa a yummi! Took me back to a real traditional fonda :D
morg: Huge upgrade from El Sauce. Decent food AND you won't get stabbed

Hiram Diaz: Definitely the best Mexican I've had in DC! Get the Carnitas!
Sophia H: Burrito desnudo with half-and-half carnitas and el pastor (no extra charge) was eh okay, but the serving was HUGE and cheap - only $7.70 ($7 plus tax)! Both pork meat were dry, not soft or tender
Dave Cutlip: So far everything I have eaten here has been delicious I am partial to the 3 tacos with steak it’s amazing!!

Omari Allen: Love the ambiance here. If you can’t get a resy for the main dining room, ask if you can sit downstairs at the speakeasy. Fav parts of my meal were La Luna, the short ribs tacos, and the enchiladas!
Bobby: Can’t go wrong with any of the guacamole options. The seafood enchiladas and empanadas were solid too.
April Armstrong: The CrabCake Tostada, Grilled Mushroom Tacos, and Wood Grilled chicken were delicious 😋

Jessica Huff: The carnitas tacos and chicken tamales were delish! Great place for a light meal and drinks for a decent price. The wait staff is awful though. Poor customer service.
Ignacio Crespo: Amazing tacos! Carne asada, fish and al pastor is a killer threesome.
Kurt J: While I'm partial to on-the-rocks, the frozen margarita is more bang for your buck.
Behrad Eats: You really can't go wrong with any of the taco options here, but highly recommend the pescado Baja California, lengua guisada, carnitas estilo Michoacán, and pancita de puerco al pastor tacos.
Derek Fromson: José Andrés' Mexican tapas joint is a lively, vibrant scene. Don't miss the tasty mojitos, guacamole (made in front of you) and the traditional, yet complex chile en nogada, among other tasty treats.
Washington Post: This Mexican playground from creator Jose Andres is a trailblazer. Thanks to recent expansion next door, it's also more comfortable than ever.
