Robert Dyer: Try the Red Sangria ( or the white), Tortilla Espanola (Egg omelette), & Pintxos Morunis (Colorado Lamb skewers).
Lawrence Jesper: The lamb skewers, dates, and patatas bravas are excellent.
Jen S: Great small plates. Try the lamb skewers and the crispy potatoes.

Terence Chan: Tasty! Def get the lemongrass pork sausage. The pork skewers were a little ok salty. Got some pork belly plate that was too salty too. It's like Thai with a flair. Mango salad was good. 3.5/5
Saarim Zaman: some of the best food I've had in DC. Try the skewers, fried rice, and the sausage if you're trying to play it safe.
Noah Weiss: Fantastic Laotian food. Naem Khao is a super tasty coconut rice salad with sour pork; Piing pork skewers with spicy chili sauce delicious too.

Lauren Yamagata: Head upstairs to the Izakaya and try the pork & brussel sprout skewers, miso braised cod, onigiri, chawanmushi and more! Delicious!
Kat L: Get chawanmushi, pork Brussels sprouts, pork miso rice ball. Edamame good for happy hour. Chicken thigh and beef tenderloin skewers were well cooked but disappointingly bland.
Charlene: Try the pork and Brussels sprouts skewers, okonomiyaki style, and the cod roe spaghetti!

Ryan: If you've been to a number of José Andres restaurants, this one stands out for being the most different. Peruvian street food skewers were most worth my $.
Stephanie Hellerman: Ceviche, crunchy tuna roll, chicken skewers (perfect for your pickier eaters), beef stew, noodle and tomato dish. Fun, loud, true fusion atmosphere!
JK: Try Chupe de camarón, with Pacific wild shrimp, fresh cheese, choclo, rice, potato, and poached egg & Pulpo al olivo rosita yimura and botija olive-mayo, plus avocado

Matt Kennedy: Rabbit skewers are a must try!
Ben: Had an amazing meal with great service. Amaro flight at the end was also a great finishing touch.
Julie Eschbacher: Menu rotates daily, but if you're lucky to see these get them: zucchini bread, scallops with chili oil, and the corn + taleggio ravioli

Behrad Eats: Order the tasty Shish Kabob made with marinated beef tenderloin, skewered with onions, tomatoes & bell peppers, served over rice with a house made bread roll.
Washingtonian Magazine: If you’re after something quick, the excellent pork souvlaki wrapped with feta in warm, soft pita is the way to go—it’s one of our favorite sandwiches in the area
Constantino Diaz-Duran: The tzaziki here is one of the (very) few things I miss about DC.

Asian Restaurant · U-Street · 89 tips and reviews
Winter: Halibut was good but extremely spicy. The lemongrass beef is a decent main portion size and solid, traditional and I would order again. Pork collar skewer was excellent
Katherine Kennedy Allen: Absolutely get the spicy cashews while you pick out the rest of your meal. My two favs: the sable fish and crab fried rice. Perfection!
Washington Post: Part Thai, part Vietnamese, Doi Moi is pleasure. Mark Kuller (Proof, Estadio) and chef Haidar Karoum returned from Southeast Asia to create flavors that some foodists compare to Little Serow.

Elizabeth Burstein: Really cool eclectic food. Def get the khachapuri, the barramundi, the chicken skewers, and the el pastor tacos. Avoid the compass rose drink unless you like the taste of rose wash :)
Izzie ML: Everything is good here! Have the namesake drink at the bar while you wait for your table, you won't regret it!
Behrad Eats: The Khachapuri is their most popular dish for good reason! This delicious dish consists of cheese-filled bread, and organic egg, and local butter. I bet you can't order just one!

Washington Post: The Hangover Soup here is a treat for the senses. Skewers of spongy fish cakes and enoki mushrooms in the bowl entice the eyes, while a broth of anchovy, leeks and garlic entertains the tongue. Read more.
Ben R: Food here is legit! Ddukkbukki, buddae jiggae, spicy chicken, and k-pork fried rice (with an egg!) were all excellent
Behrad Eats: The K.F.C. (Korean Fried Chicken) is crispy and delicious but the spicy ones could use a little more heat.

Elizabeth Burstein: Loved the bfast paella, the meat and cheese plate, cherry lime sangria, shishito peppers
D F: Take green beans and meatballs for kids. Consider patatas brevas as filler but since portions so big- no need
Joaco M: Service and their tapas are awesome!
