Eat it all. Cold soba + whole squid for sure. Great Japanese whiskey selection for dessert.
Honestly one of my favorite places in Dc. Short ribs, scallops, whatever they have as specials. Most "Japanese" place in Dc IMHO. Soba is nice, whole squid, meatballs.
Ask for the fermented firefly squid (now off menu) for a treat.

The female giant squid is about 40 feet and incredible. Makes u wonder how big the adults get if she's just juvenile .....

The service was terrible, had to wait over 80 mins for the main courses. The tapas were average but the grilled squid was standout. The churros were mind blowingly good. Churros saved this place.

The squid and the octopus are excellent. The meatballs are just ok although they look tempting in the menu.

Great place to get whole fish, filets, clams, oysters, squid, crabs, scallops without paying the ridiculous grocery/restaurant prices. I would suggest going early, there's less lines, less fish scent.

Best whisky bar in DC area by far.
This bar from the folks behind Bourbon garnered a lot of attention from people who like to drink on rooftops before it was even open. There's a selection of tiki cocktails available up on the deck.
Really terrific happy hour for such a high end sushi place: 2 rolls for $20.

This was an amazing place. Bill, our waiter was the best!!!! He recommended the lobster with squid ink pasta, and I was in awe. The best squid pasta I've ever had. Would definitely recommend this!

Not really a tip, but I once watched two blind men on a date both order the soft-shell crab special here. Sadly, I had to leave before I could see how that went down.
