- Harriet RuffJanuary 12, 2015The best measure of a good pub is whether or not it has board games. This one also has fantastic food, a great selection of wine and (I'm told) brilliant beer. I ate a phenomenal stuffed sweet potato.
- Alexian ChiavegatoJune 30, 2013Probably one of the best address in the vauxhall/oval area. At the back you will find a great garden, on Sunday they serve amazing raost. The food is much better than pub average. Check for barbecue.
- John HobbsApril 5, 2016A traditional, well-presented pub. Feels pleasantly busy, difficult to get a seat for Tuesday night quiz! Standard high-end price ~£5 per pint
- Jackie BrownJune 21, 2016Nice pub with big beer garden. Get in early on a Sunday though or all the roast options will be gone!!
- hello_emilyMay 13, 2017Lovely pub but they'd run out of burgers and bruschetta when I was there... The only vegan things on the menu... ☹️
- Have ventured back as thought of nice roast on a cold day was too irresistible. Found staff to be super helpful and friendly - maybe a change of management? Just steer the hell clear of quiz night ;)
- In summer, the beer garden at the back is great to chill in and watch the world go by!
- Ptk OrsiniApril 14, 2012Book a table in advance, especially if you want to sit in the garden in summer.
- Good beer and wine list. Duck eggs on the menu!
- Kyle FairclothAugust 23, 2014Unfortunately this pub seems to have gone down hill over the last couple of years...food and drinks way overpriced. £4.65 for a pint and £8.00 for a "Charcuterie Board"...
- Sarah LonghurstOctober 28, 2009Love this place, definitely worth bothering with, great staff, great good, lovely atmosphere & gorgeous beer garden.
- Love this place when it's quiet. Not much standing room when it's busy.
- Jonathan CMay 7, 2010When your electricity cuts out at dinner time, head to the fentiman arms for an emergency dish of the day
- Lovely and nice pub just on the other side of my house
- No seriously - unless you are looking for quiz night - stay away on Tuesdays. It's all a bit much if you're not part of it...
- Ali BDecember 3, 2015The Sunday roast is massively overpriced - go to Dean Street Townhouse instead. Nice enough venue and staff, slightly grubby toilets.
- david singletonFebruary 21, 2010Agree with Kate L - avoid quiz night - quiz guy was really nasty to us.
- more worried about making money than looking after the locals.plus had v bad experience on quiz night with aggressive quizmaster demanding money from us we'd paid already. avoid.
- Phil ClandillonOctober 11, 2009Don't bother - always really crowded - slow service and the food is pretty average considering the prices.
