    Every time I return to St. Louis I have to stop at Herbie's. The restaurant is wonderful with outstanding service and hospitality. The carpaccio is stellar! For dinner, try the quail or Wellington!

    Try the Paupiette Of Bass - Spinach & red wine reduction. Served with 2009 sinskey Pinot noir. Sinskey wine dinner. Not a fish fan, but amazing.

    There is no end to the wonderful things you can order here. The Shrimp and Grits is outstanding as is the Duck Confit Crepe.

    Slooooooow. Every request takes 20 minutes and a reminder. Don't come unless you have an entire day to spend waiting for your food/check/next drink.
