Generally a lovely plaza, until the street hawkers won't leave you alone with their flowers — that gets very annoying, very fast... especially when a simple "no, thank you" will suffice.
The neoclassical piazza as it is today was designed 1811-22 by Valadier in 2 semicircles, as Bernini's Colonnade, redesigning the space conceived by Alexander VII Chigi, as funnel from Porta Flaminia.
It means People's Square. The square is split into three streets. Via del Babuino on the left, Via di Ripetta on the right and Via del Corso is in the middle.
One of my favourite ones.I suggest u start from here,go to nearby terazza del pincio to admire the view&then start walking via del corso (or one of the other streets,via del ripetta or via bambuini).

It's an oval shaped square close to Piazza di Spagna and is remarkable because of the twin churches: Santa Maria di Montesanto and Santa Maria dei Miracoli, built in the Neo classical style.
