MID-JUNE DESTINATION RETREAT @ WINTER PARK IS THE PLACE TO BE,... bring your mountain bike and your Body Armour and hit the trails!!!
Do NOT rent skis or boards at the 2 onsite rental places, named Winter Park Rentals. Inept management, long waits (we waited over 1 1/4 hour & they weren't crowded), and shoddy equipment.
Go to Mary Jane if you love bumps. You can try various kinds of bumps.
Very cute village...awesome place to bring the family. Newest tubing park in the area with good rates.

For a family friendly ski run, take the Gemini Express lift up and ski down Village Way to Lower Parkway, which returns you to the base of the mountain.
Columbine lake hike- Fraser. Great family hike.
