Pub · Holborn and Covent Garden · 25 tips and reviews
Ankur Banerjee: Great location in Covent Garden, and particularly for its location it's not exceedingly expensive. Just a normal pub with nothing much in terms of fancy cocktails.

Ankur Banerjee: Freshly made gourmet coffee and they've recently started taking card payments as well. My new favourite morning espresso cuppa on the way to work.

Pub · South Bank · 38 tips and reviews
Ankur Banerjee: Seating downstairs is pretty cool, in old school cellars which is great for groups but hard to grab. Very short staffed during evenings.
Coffee Shop · City of London · 44 tips and reviews
Ankur Banerjee: Ask for tasting notes on the guest espresso: it changes every now and then, and sometimes it's a miss. Staff are knowledgeable and should be able to guide you a coffee "taste" you'd like.
Ankur Banerjee: No flash photography allowed. There's a section where you can pose for Bond photos: free to get one taken but getting it printed out costs money (and isn't good value anyway).
Ankur Banerjee: Great service and good for cocktails, although the choices are very standard and nothing spectacular. Good atmosphere for a relaxed catchup and business meetings.
Ankur Banerjee: Great place to get a filling salad. I'm partial towards the tacos they do, it's a change from a lot of the places in the area which do only burritos.
Ankur Banerjee: Incredibly thoughtful and friendly service. For starters try the crab or the scallops. All the seafood tastes so fresh that I'd definitely recommend picking those over the steaks or duck for mains.
Ankur Banerjee: Previously known as the Four Seasons (which confuses some taxi drivers) the service here is absolutely excellent and the decor of ever room cosy. Worthy addition to the InterContinental brand.
Restaurant · South-East Inner City · 8 tips and reviews
Ankur Banerjee: Good value for money given the quality of food, and the level of service is good, if not overly attentive. Wine list is extensive, but surprisingly lacking in whiskeys or any other spirits.
Ankur Banerjee: Avoid this place during the evening if you're out of town. Mostly it's safe but there are hobos and drunks around who can sometimes be aggressive.
Indian Restaurant · Montpelier · 15 tips and reviews
Ankur Banerjee: Absolutely charming decor: there's a distinct Indian film theme, from 70-80s Bollywood to regional cinema posters from South and East India as well. Get the bottled water which goes towards charity.
Ankur Banerjee: Accessible power sockets (including USB ports for quick phone charging) even in standard rooms. Upgrade to the deluxe executive rooms are worth it.

Hotel · 16 tips and reviews
Ankur Banerjee: This hotel has an old school classic hotel charm to it that is quite cosy, inviting, and romantic. Service is excellent, although I wish that the breakfast wasn't a buffet-style option.
Ankur Banerjee: Cheesy and dirty cheeseburgers which are great in their American way. A regular order of fries is quite substantial, a small order is usually enough for one person.
