- Great venue to watch a ballet. I've sat in almost every section & never a bad seat. I love all the the marble work & chrystal chandeliers. Gorgeous theatre. They also check ALL bags at the doors.
- Cyn StoltzJune 30, 2017Amazing architecture, a sense of what it was long ago. NO leg room though so almost impossible to get comfortable after the first half hour of sitting. Try for aisle seats, little better.
- Samantha McDuffeeDecember 20, 2011If you get there late and you're, "on hold" ask about balcony seats for the current act instead of watching the screens. Still a great view and you can get your real seats after intermission.Upvoted 3 days ago
- Geoffrey GroveJanuary 1, 2016Aisle seats on the outer aisles stagger outward giving an unobstructed view for children. You can also use booster seats that are provided for children to use.
- AliDecember 12, 2017Exquisite interior design and magnificent acoustics. Visit the building for it’s own sake even if you don’t like the kind of music they usually play there.
- Michelle RichardsonFebruary 21, 2018Just been to production of Love Never Dies. Just beautiful. Great acoustics....not a bad seat in the house.
- Eric AndersenJanuary 13, 2014Restrooms downstairs; expect a long line for both men and women during intermission
- Al SFebruary 12, 2012Be respectful and courteous and don't take any pictures or use your cell phone during a performance. There's a reason the ushers get angry when you snap pics: It's rude and annoying.

- Evan Kanouse, IIIMarch 16, 2011See anything and you're in for a treat! God forbid if you try and take a picture: those angry little gnomes they call ushers will come yelling! Great place, though.
- The Nutcracker is the prettiest I've seen in the country. So far. Well done. Be sure to look at all the lovely renovations.
- Theater is very wide, so seats on extreme sides may be obstructed/limited view. But on the plus side, are likely discounted!
- Joanne SardiniSeptember 27, 2010Watch out for the hawk eyed ushers - they'll punish cell phone use!! Worth getting seats forward of row Q for best views.
- Verónica RincónSeptember 9, 2015You are in Boston, you like musicals, you are a student, you have to visit this place.
- CindyNovember 17, 2018Tthe theater was cramped. Our knees pushed into the seats in front of us causing us to be extremely uncomfortable. The theater seems to be a bit of a fire hazard with only one way out from upstairs.
