Love the exhibits they host here in combination with the IMAX.
Just amazing. And free!
Great place to go on a weekend. And it's free!
Expeditions are usually well worth it. A few air and space objects are also always on display
It's so cool and u get to see a lot of neat things and even get to ride the shuttle..
"Dead Sea Scrolls: The Exhibition" March 10 - Sept. 7, 2015
See sea scrolls first. People don't move they and stand around waiting while more people are let in. Entire exhibit is very good.

Free admission, exhibitions
Fun & Free!! Great place to explore with the kids!
This place is wonderful for both kids and adults, they have interactive games in their "discovery centers" that are also educational and fun! It requires a minimum of 2 hours here, so much to see
Fun place to spend an afternoon.
Awesome display of the space shuttle that is perfect for all ages
Great place, very cool that it's free. Was $10 bucks to park though.
Great family fun with boys!
There are so many things to do and see in this science center. You spend one day doing all the activities.

One word: Endeavour
Free admission. Parking is cash only.
It's a fun place! Endeavor is here! You can touch star fish and other kinds of water creatures. Free admission
I remember when they remodeled this place, I was 6 and everything was so awesome! Now some parts of this museum seem kinda dirty and dated 😦
Very nice and clean building
Space shuttle exhibit is free with purchase of a special event ticket like Pompeii!
lots of free exhibits. $10 parking
Mid afternoon on weekdays is the best time to stroll
Pompeii exhibit closes at 3:30, not 5, which is what the website says. Go early.
Great Hands on learning experience for children and adults.
Bring $10 cash for parking! If you forgot cash, the chevron down the street has an ATM.
Trying to eat healthy? Bypass the McDonalds they have there, and go for the Grab 'n Go. They have healthier snacks there, particularly health bars that actually taste good!
If you're there for the Pompeii exhibition, and you want to buy some of the books they have for sale about what happened to Pompeii, check Amazon first. You will likely pay MUCH less!
State of the art facility that houses a freaking space shuttle but they haven't figured out how to take credit cards for the parking lot. Bring cash (10 bucks) to park.

First day 10am: Take a light-rail ride on the recently opened Metro Expo Line to Exposition Park. The child-friendly California Science Center is home to the retired Space Shuttle Endeavour.
Coming here by Metro is the best option. No parking fee (is $10 at the Museum)
My niece loved all the interactive exhibits! Great museum type place to take kids.
Just because it's free admission doesn't mean you can let your kids run around like savages, banging all the buttons, and ruining everyone else's experience. Take the opportunity to teach & learn!
Admission is free, and you can see the space shuttle Endeavour for a nominal fee of $2.
