- Kinjil MathurDecember 15, 2014the holiday pastries are a step above their regular french pastries. Who knew that was even possible!
- Kenny KhuuSeptember 18, 2018DKA is basically a sweet croissant with a glaze/caramelized sugar on top. It was flaky and on the sweet side. Thought it was decent. 3.25/5
- still have yet to try the famed cronut, but all other pastries are equally delicious and beautifully presented. yummy.
- Justin JonssonOctober 12, 2014Cronut? Not bad. Cookie shot? Disappointing. Frozen s'more? Amazing. You really need to try it. The only problem is that it doesn't travel well due to the ice cream contained within.
- Jared WickFebruary 20, 2015Almost always sold out of their specialties – you'll have to get their first thing in the morning and stand in line to get your hands on the coveted cronut.
- Neli ParchikNovember 29, 2014Be prepared to stand in a long line if you're ordering cronuts - but it is totally worth it! They are amazing! 😍
- Diane CimineJune 15, 2014So having shown up WAY too late for a cronut, I settled for a DKA and while pricey ($5.72 for a tiny muffin-sized thing), can't imagine the cronut could trump it for flavor, texture and overall WOW 😍
- Christine D.January 2, 2015Errrr mah gawd! The cookie shot is amazing. The DKA and madeleines were good to try but not something I'd go back for.
- Kaitlin NelsonApril 3, 2017You have to get here early if you want a cronut, as they sell out quickly, but the DKAs are a great second!
- Dorothy FigielAugust 25, 2013The cronut is an experience, but is actually a little too sweet for my palette. The DKA has a similar texture and is glazed instead of stuffed with icing - better balanced. Skip the line!
- Luis BastardoSeptember 26, 2014I tried the chocolate eclair, it's good, but it's not the best I've had. The DKA, though, is pretty good, I tried a bite and I felt in love with it.
- Dominique Ansel BakeryMarch 28, 2013Gluten free items for Passover? Try the Mini Me Cake or the Black & Blue Pavlova (both also nut free)
- AngelNovember 3, 2015You can pre-order cronuts 2 weeks in advance and other items online so you don't have to wait in line! DKA's > Cronuts
- Ai KDecember 22, 2023The line is justified. Amazing croissants, pastries and equally as importantly coffees! Breakfast all day.
- Nayef 86 - GeminiAugust 6, 2017Their famous Cronuts always sold out ! Coffee is good, cookies shot is not my type but it popular here. Oh yeah, set outdoor :)
- Emmanuel GalvanFebruary 5, 2016Standing in line for an hour at 7am to get a CRONUT is totally worth it ! That thing is SO GOOD !
- Gal AmirMay 21, 2015After 3pm order the chocolate chip cookie shot and the medelain's straight from the oven... Delicious!
- AleiaMarch 15, 2015Check out the cookie & milk special. A cookie shaped cup filled with vanilla-infused milk. Only after 3p. It's delicious.
- Sierra BarkdollFebruary 1, 2017Absolutely amazing. His food creations are wonderful. Particularly loved the frozen s'more and the cookie shot
- Aly OradyDecember 28, 2014Some say the cronut is overrated. Those that say so have overlooked how delicate and perfectly executed this pastry is. It's worth the 90 minute wait in line - it's art not food.
- Skinny Girl EatsJune 30, 2016Just had a cronut. The line was worth it. I'll be back to try more desserts.
- Larisa GrollemondJuly 12, 2016Solid pastries, honestly skip the cronuts, they're nothing to write home about! Try one of the other creative desserts, like the frozen s'more.
- Alex HennesseyAugust 23, 2015DKA all the way. The cronut, while no doubt labor intensive, really is overrated. All the other pastries are so amazing and are a better use of your money.
- DKA, any featured pastry, the cannele & definitely the Perfect Little Egg Sandwich!
- We loved their kouign amann and obviously their cronuts! The line wasn't bad at all.
- CITY GRITAugust 5, 2014Forget the Cronut, we think Dominique makes the best Cannele in town. And the Black & Blue Pavlova makes us weak in the knees!
- Heba-I-amSeptember 16, 2017The frozen marshmallow is really good too. Avoid going on weekend because you'll have to wait in line for a while. Ok coffee
- Buford DouglasMarch 16, 2019Invented the Cronut in 2013, a pastry that resembles a doughnut and is made from croissant-like dough which is filled with flavored cream and fried in grapeseed oil.
- Julia San JuanDecember 1, 2014Don't sleep on the DKA, a caramelized croissant with a sweet glaze inside its warm, dreamy, heaven sent layers.
- Alexzandria LangheierJuly 9, 2015Always a line!!!! Never any #cronuts they need to fix this or else it will get old fast... They are famous for inventing them yet run out everyday at 8am??? Need to make changes
- Julie SosciaSeptember 5, 2018Known for the cronut, Ansel's entire menu has great options. But you should definitely try the cronut.
- DKA yes, cannele of course, macaron not so much. Cookies are very crumbley and the entire thing falls apart. The pink berry and chocolate are a bit more out together.
- Eric StephensDecember 18, 2014Arrive around 9:45am to miss the crazy line if you're ok skipping the cronut. Everything is amazing.
- Kimberly PNovember 24, 2013Cronuts were def worth the wait - so good. Frozen s'mores were really good too.
- Jessica MokFebruary 12, 2016The pastries are amazing but I miss the good old days when there were no lines. The madeleines are worth the wait.
- Tony HuangJune 30, 2013There is a outdoor garden with glass cover at the back, great spot to chill at.
- Halstead PropertyJuly 11, 2013The Cronut Craze is going strong! The fried, crunchy outside and lightly layered inside with the sweet frosting changing monthly is mouthwatering. We’ll be back this July for the blackberry flavor.
- Elvis RodricksMarch 30, 2020Salt n white macadamia cookie hit the spot with a soft and chewy finish. Dont forget the Cookie shot - a delicious and functional work of art!
- Ariadna GranéMarch 31, 2015we didn't arrive on time to get a cronut but we had the DKA and the madeleines they were all delicious!!
- Cynthia PflaumJanuary 12, 2013Chances are, you'll end up wearing part of the treat you bought - but that's okay. One of the best croissants I've had in a long time.
- Chiara MezzanottefondaSeptember 13, 2014You have to try the dka! Yogurt with homemade granola and fruit salad are also really good
- Georgina JenkinsSeptember 8, 2015The cronuts are definitely worth the wait and the Madeline's and lemonade are also very good.
- Jenny A.December 30, 2012Try the Blood Orange Poppyseed Cake; its like a creamy fluffy orange white chocolate creamsicle with a little poppy crunch!
- You must try the madeleines, they will be freshly cooked for you and served warm!
