eric bornemann: Beautiful park with nice hiking trails. The scenic trail is short but lives up to its name.

eric bornemann: Nice park for short hikes. Surrounded by a lot of sprawl but nice when it’s not to hot or there is water in the waterfall.

eric bornemann: Great place for families and a semi-healthy lunch with beer, wine and cocktails outside. The kitchen can be slow so go early or expect to wait. Chicken BLT and salads are good choices.

eric bornemann: Beautiful park right outside the city with great views and trails. Good to drive up and hike from the top if you have kids.

eric bornemann: Great little spur trails to do from here with incredible views in all directions. Much better then the crowded Dobbins lookout.

eric bornemann: One of the better non-chain food options in Surprise. Enchilada sauce is good and food quality is good. You could certainly do a lot worse in This part of Phoenix.

eric bornemann: Nice easy trail thru the desert that is less crowded then the waterfall trail but leads you there.

eric bornemann: Great bakery with delicious rolls and cheesecakes. Really friendly and helpful staff.

eric bornemann: Good selection of Arizona wine to try when you are in town. Fast curbside service so you don’t get Covid.

eric bornemann: Huge portions of decent bar food. Friendly service at fair prices. Lots of outdoor seating.

eric bornemann: Stunning and beautiful location over the bay.

eric bornemann: Less line then the station at the entrance.

eric bornemann: Really the Rolls Royce of zoos. Amazing location and enclosures for the animals… but damn is it expensive. In the summer go in the morning and then come back at night when less crowded and cooler.

eric bornemann: Ok beer selection but the food is really lacking. Go early to get a table in the shade.

eric bornemann: Really cannot beat the location over the water. And the fish tacos and oysters are still incredible for the price. Sadly hosted and staff are a bit clueless.

eric bornemann: Great place for lamb burgers, fish and chips and beer/atmosphere.

eric bornemann: Stunning interior- worth the price of admission alone.

eric bornemann: Such a cool boat - so much history, told well and beautifully preserved.

eric bornemann: Really cute coffee shop with friendly staff who may get overwhelmed at times but are creating a great neighborhood place.

eric bornemann: Great museum with lots of fun ships to go on and in. That said, the guy at the front desk when you check in is a massive asshole and needs to go.

eric bornemann: Great page to run on the side streets for nice views on foggy mornings.

eric bornemann: One of the best restaurants in San Diego. You can’t go wrong with anything but the lamb, Bronzino, hush puppies, and albacore tartare are all stupidly damn good.

eric bornemann: Great neighborhood to get an Airbnb in and explore San Diego- grey for kids.

eric bornemann: Beautiful park with great coastal trails and cliffs to watch sea life from. Neat in the mornings when foggy.

eric bornemann: Nice big park with lots of different coves and overlooks along the coast. Just keep driving to find a less crowded spot.
