Tried a jumbo lump and a backfin, both incredible crab cakes, but the backfin reminds me more of crackin crabs in childhood. Incredible spot in a classic environment (Lexington Market)

These chunky crab cakes were the best I ever had; they looked like huge meatballs. The big lumps of crabmeat were held together by minimal amounts of condiments, and were deliciously sweet.

Be careful when ordering the crabcakes be careful! make sure you get the "lump" (they have three different options). The "lump crabcake" is their award winner and definitely the best!

This place is a sad shadow of what it used to be. The Lexington Market is all but abandoned and the area is so depressed. $20 for a crab cake and a beer is unacceptable in a setting like this.
