People tend to check in during these times:
Irving Plaza was converted into a rock music venue in 1978 and has since hosted U2, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton & more establishing itself as NYC’s premier venue.
Small to midsize venue. Legendary place to see a band. 3 levels. great balcony. Full bar in back with fast service. From The Ramones to U2 to Clapton & Dylan. all the heavy hitters have played here
Head to Galaxy Global Eatery on Irving place between 15th and 16th to grab a bite before (or after) the show. The food is diverse and delicious and it's affordable! – Team Live Nation
Drink before you get there. $2 tallboy of coors or bud for $12?! Really?
Get a $10 huge can of budweiser. Orrrrr, don't.
The sound is horrible under the balconies, much better on the open floor.
One of our favorite venues for general admission concerts. But direct at their box office and avoid paying ticket broker fees!
play an epic game of soccer with the empty cans on the floor after the show ends.
They will rip you off at coat check. Just dropped $9 for bag, umbrella, jacket, and first born

Atari Teenage Riot?
Since when do we pay $3 for a coat check!?
Buy Roseland Ballroom tickets here to save on outrageous Ticketmaster fees.
Star killer on foursquare whutt!!
Make sure you get a good spot in the middle of the floor, the sight lines aren't great towards the outside.
Shitty venue in my option. I'd rather go to best buy theatre.
No DSLRs!! They charge $3 to watch it for you at coat check
Don't forget to tip the Coatcheck ladies!
Say hi to Darren Carew, he's got a buzz
Saw Common tonight. Great intimate venue. The crowd was great. Common did his thing. #HipHop
Concerts get crunched. VIP tickets are worth the extra $$ because they come with a free drink and view is muuuuuch better. More room to bust move. 💃
If you can get here when doors open try to get to the balcony. Great view and you'll be sure to not lose any clothes when a mosh pit opens up next to you on the main floor.
Great venue. Have been going here for ever and never had an issue getting close. Sound is also pretty great compared to other nyc venues.
Used to be the best, now the WORST venue - money hungry owners! Such bullshit! F this place!!
More like Serving the Swerving underage.
This place SUCKS. They never get their shows started on time and whether its coat check or drinks you feel like you're being robbed. There are way better venues in NYC, never again!!
Even for NYC this place is outrageous. $7 pbrs?? I mean you gotta go see your bands no matter what, but the sound and the prices of this place are shit.
Amazing venue for any show.
Check out Lifebeat, the music industry fights AIDS table!
Not too big, not too small.... Great place to catch a show!
Drink at the Belmont Lounge around the block before you come, awesome happy hour.
Go nekkid it's a hot one!!
Weird set-up, overpriced drinks, always too crowded...definitely not one of my top choices to see a show
Fuck lol! Meatloaf rox!!!
Best concerts of my life were here!
Be careful on the stairs, seen a girl with a broken face on the way in...
Still one of the best venues in NYC!
I've filmed 3 concerts here: Jonas Brothers, Honor Society, and Timbaland - very intimate and small venue to get an up close look at your favorite music artists!
Coat check line goes out the door at the end of the night, get your coat early.
Small intimate space. Great sound, good show selection.
Proud to have played here! Gorgeous venue, spacious historical and great sound/lighting!
Check out the balcony for more crowded shows.
Two floor set up, except that for bigger shows they reserve upstairs for VIP (worth the extra money). Bars on every floor and there are great bars/restos for before and after the show close by!
Ótima qualidade de som, espaço amplo, ar condicionado bombando, serviço excelente e o show no dia que fui (do Common), idem!!
