This is one of the premier Art Museums in the country. With the new Nelson Block collection being added this year, we now have a wonderful collection of French Impressionists and "Old Masters".

Allow time to visit each floor! One hour isn't nearly enough time. Get there early and finish your trip with a glass of wine before the courtyard closes at 4. Or come back at 5:30 for happy hour!

Love this place. So much amazing artwork and pretty much everthing is free. If you go often get a membership. Gets you into the paid exhibits as well as free parking and 10% of food and junk.

One of the best in the nation. The Asian art collection is world class. Take a picture by the giant wooden Japanese Buddha, and do not forget to visit the Indian and Chinese temples.

Check the acquisition number on the labels. The first two numbers are, I believe, the year of acquisition. It's interesting to compare when various, sometimes similar pieces came to Kansas City.
