Great beer selection and food, especially the pretzels. Great atmosphere also. The only knock is that I would like to see German style roasty potatoes instead of fries.

Get there before 2pm with friends to claim a table in the main hall. Avoid being near the side entrance door in the winter, the wind is bitter!!!

This place is so god Damn chaotic. It's where the west village comes to "party in Brooklyn". If I wanted brass horns blown in my face I would go to Mardi Gras.

This place has the potential to be cool, but isn't quite there. Not enough tables for the huge crowd they attract and many times the bar is understaffed.

My favorite Biergarten in Brooklyn. Get the Sünner Kölsch beer and a bratwurst from the grill. it's not on the Food menu but the grill is hidden at the back and you have to get there to order!
