- This is definitely not the best bar in the neighborhood. You should never go here and enjoy the beers which are never delicious and the snacks which are never a great selection of meats and cheeses.
- Best backyard in the hood. Put your name in at St Anselm and head next door. They'll text you when your table is ready and you can even bring your unfinished beverages in through the back door
- AmateurConciergeDecember 12, 2018Beer lover spot with tons on tap and a few snacks on offer. Great place to grab a drink while you wait for your table at St Anselm. Can bring ur beers next door when dinner starts. Good tunes too
- Johnnie SkywalkingJanuary 2, 2017Great spot when you have a long wait at St Anselm. But you would even enjoy waiting by having great selection of craft beer at the patio. Be sure to bring beer from here to St Anselm.
- The nicest bartenders I've ever met! They went out of their way to take apart the sink and get the ring I dropped down the drain like an idiot. Great beer AND amazing people. Can't go wrong!
- Sam CJuly 5, 2014Great place for post-Fette Sau chilling. Tables all the way in the back seem to allow smoking, so stay near the front of the yard if you don't want a cloud! Great beer/wine selection & tons of shade!!

- SwigNovember 12, 2014Great selection of draft and bottled beer. They have a great backyard for warmer weather. If you're hungry check out their cheese and meat plates. Remember to Swig your drink.
- Tanner WelshNovember 16, 2011Don't be intimidated by the $30 beers on the wall - they also have some very tasty brews on tap for the more economical drinker. A fave of mine = cherry stout. Also, the back patio is stupendous.
- LukeJune 29, 2018An old standard that has a new buzz. The beer list is epic, but the wine list a low key hit, too. Try both in the backyard
- Jc QSeptember 16, 2014Come here for beer, wine, cheese or the huge garden in the back - you won't be disappointed. Also a good place to wait for your table at St. Anselm.
- Matthew HurstMarch 2, 2017Come in for the best craft beers, and bring a few friends with you to the patio in the back!
- Brew YorkAugust 15, 2011The tap selection is small, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. The beers here are hard-to-find, one-of-a-kind imports and American craft brews. Plus, there's a great backyard!
- Megan MFebruary 2, 2018Most diverse, rare, and far reaching beer menu I've ever seen. Cool atmosphere, great place to wait for a table at St. Anselm!
- EsquireJanuary 31, 2011Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. We highly recommend the house cask ale, but there's no finer beer bar in the city, so really, you can't go wrong.

- Aaron KayMarch 23, 2015Don't fret about a wait next door at St Anselm. You're in good hands (and hops) at this low key beer bar.
- Kristina RudicMarch 29, 2016Best for spring, summer or fall when you can actually sit outside in the back. They tend to overheat the inside during the colder months.
- Emily WilsonDecember 10, 2016Here in the wintertime? Lucky you. Have the glögg if they're serving it. Mmm.
- Anna PotterJuly 30, 2010Go in the evening and sit in the garden. Holy beautiful! Also, next door are some killer french fries--go all the way with cottage cheese, gravy, and add some chipotle to the ketchup. Mamacita!
- WyngspanJanuary 27, 2014A wide selection of beer from over 14 different countries. A backyard that was made to drink beer in ( when it's warm):
http://bit.ly/1aCKyTl - Kate FurmanJuly 18, 2016Check out the patio out back, great place to grab a drink with a large group of friends.
- Men's Health MagNovember 10, 2011This joint specializes in obscure and rare beers. Hansje Drinker Triple? Zum Uerige Dusseldorf Alt? Hard to pronounce, let alone find the fridge. Luckily, these barkeeps know their beer.
- Ben GaspariniAugust 28, 2016Cool little hole in the wall with nice brew selection. Can't even tell there is a garden out back.
- Extensive selection of beers, delicious mulled wine in the winter, large backyard.

- Evan AllenJuly 12, 2013Don't bother reading the menu if you're not quaint with international beers. Just tell the bartender what kind you want, or what you're used to. They'll help you out.
