Maria Kahn: Ok let's see....the brisket is AMAZING, the baby back rib TO DIE FOR, the Lockhart cole slaw DELICIOUS, the potato salad YUMMY and the habanero Mac 'n Cheese (beware) SPICY!!
Dallas Observer: The slaw. Lockhart has some fancier cole slaws, including a bleu cheese-based one, but the buried sriracha, paprika and cayenne in their titular one elevates it past just cabbage and mayo.
Phillip Nguyen: try their blue cheese coleslaw... so good
Ritche Corpus: 2 meat 2 sides special. Ribs and chicken or Brisket. Sides of spicy beans, potato salad, and Cole slaw (has bleu cheese). Can't go wrong with any combination.
Kiran Malancharuvil: The sausage is AMAZING. I've never had anything like it. Get the sausage, chopped brisket, coleslaw and baked beans.
Franz Constancio: Ribs are delicious. I smoke my own ribs, in a real smoker. Definitely a good option. Sausage melts in your mouth. Definitely get the coleslaw (Bleu cheese) has bacon on top.
Andrew Butler: Awesome food, fun atmosphere. If you get the Box Combo to-go, make sure to take the cole slaw out right away or it won't be good by the time you get home.
ᴡ Miller: I love their cole slaw, so I always end up substituting it for the fries. Sweet tea is amazing!
Erica Copeland: Juicy chicken tenders, fries, buttery toast, and sweet tea... It doesn't get any better than that!!! 😍

JL AA: Brisket, pulled pork, coleslaw, beef ribs, mac n cheese
Jake Smith: The pork here is a delicate balance of juicy richness and smoky flavor. Sauce isn't required, but I felt it helped bring out the meat spices. Topped with coleslaw, this sandwich is a cut above most.
Kevin Dudley: We got here at 10:45a and it took us 45 mins to get to the register to order. Food came out fairly fast. Wife got the Hot Mess and loved it. Men, get the beef rib, burnt ends, and coleslaw. Do it.
Peter Lehrfeld: Order the the pulled pork sandwich smothered in tangy-spicy sauce and creamy Memphis coleslaw. There's nothing quite like it.
Karthik Deivarayan: Pulled chicken and chicken skewers were really good .. It would be incomplete without the Boston Lager.. The fries and the coleslaw were perfectly sides ..!! Fried okra avoidable ..
Elvis Blues: Try the Spicy Onion Ring basket, they are fantastic. Hand battered, spicy, made fresh to order.
Brian P: Brisket was moist and flavorful, not smoky enough for me, but good. The green beens and coleslaw were very good. Didn't try the Beef Ribs, so will need to go back.
Brian Carrington: big beef ribs barbeque and sausage are great
Mitzi Thorpe: Big Al's has great food. Ive tried the beef & pork ribs, and spicy sausage and all taste great. The staff is also friendly and remembered me & my sister everytime we go in.
Tiff L.: Mac and cheese, smoked sausage and the friend chicken special on Mondays!
Brian Davis: This place is amazing. Smoked! Smoked! Smoked! Dont come here unless you love the very best in smoked meat. Family run by some amazing people who have been doing it since 1976.
