For takeaway I usually skip the domestics and hit the first cooler to the right as you enter, for cheap singles of various delicious and hard-to-find German Pilsner, Weisse, and Bock.

Enjoyed the mapo tofu, and thought both the dumplings and wantons in chilli oil were tasty if a little sweet. Chicken wings were only ok. (For reference this was from a takeout order.)

The Bon Bo Hue is a perfect blend of beef and pork with a spice that tickles the throat.
Waited 30 minutes for the check before we had a chance to even ask for it. Then after asking for it we had to wait 10 more. Plan on getting takeout, and avoid the dine-in-only Groupon.
Great authentic Italian pastries. Depending on the time of day it can be super busy. Sit down is nice but take away is just as good

This slim takeout spot caters to NYU students and Indian cab drivers. The all-vegetarian food is very cheap and satisfying (try the rajma), good for late night snacks in the East Village.

The grilled octopus was so good! It was cooked perfectly and had such great flavor. The bread was also crazy delicious! This places gets packed at peak hours. Take out is surprisingly quick though!
