One of my favorite cafes in the city. Good food and coffee without pretentiousness, beautiful outdoor patio, and wifi (but no plugs, so you can only hog space for so much :). Really great spot.

Great place to shop for groceries in SF! They have everything. Also, if you're lucky get the non-gluten free pastry with poppies and cherries, it is to die for!

Either the darling or the dud of the Mission, depending on who you ask. Pretentious ice cream people will say Bi-Rite has better texture / consistency; non-pretentious will love the funky flavors.

The croquetas, empanadas de maiz, and hanger steak skewer are awesome. Add a glass of the Chilean Alcance.
everything is amazing, but definitely don't miss the croquetas and the bone marrow.
I can't remember which of the individual drinks were particularly good because they were all so boozy, but I know they were all very good.
The kale salad with sesame tahini and yogurt is super yummy. Also, trendy.

While the burritos are better at Cancun and the tacos are better al Vallerta, the mind blowing condiment bar and the large, clean seating area make this my go-to Taqueria.
Try their $20 tasting menu. Four courses with a salad. The menu changes daily and you won't know what you're eating until the dish is served. Definitely a must! Everything was delish!

Wow, best mocha I think I've ever had! Friendly baristas and great pan au chocolat.
Go to fourbarrel instead, the baristas are far nicer.
This place is all about the uber-baristas, so stick with lattes & cappuccinos. Skip the ice coffee (which is often bitter and full of grinds) and the house coffee.
