Gusto Lopez: A Mad Men set design meets modern day hipsters. I love this bar but avoid Friday & Saturday nights. This is the spot for a quiet drink with a friend on a random weekday.
Ramon Simms: strong, but well mixed pour here from the barkeeps, and great diverse crowd (locals, hipsters, suits). reminds me a bit of the dove bar in the village (NY) - which is a good thing. i like.
Maddie Mae: On weekends, single hipsters pack in like sardines. Which I'm sure is great for the single hipsters.
J: Hipster Nation! Snobbery with style👍
lorraine doo: Hip place with great coffee - all shots are double and a cool barber shop, jewelry stores, crafts, and touch of Berkeley. Love it here!
Olivia Meza: Nice place to have a coffee, an ice cream and visiting the indie fashion and book shops there

Brian Strauss: Excellent noodles, soba has a perfect bite to it. Delicious sake and tempura. Kids, hipsters, families, and serious eaters all love it. Beautiful indoor/outdoor dining space. Unexpected locale.
Nick Ditmore: Get here by 11 if you want the daily handmade from-scratch 100% buckwheat soba—this is a rarity, even in Japan! By far the best fresh soba I’ve ever had!
Brook Shelley: One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Outstanding food, great service, and a warm, stylish environment. Be sure to try the specials and the mountain potato fries.

Frank Kim: Progressive hipster styles you'll find here, but also love the soaps and candles they sell. Got some jewelry for my girl here too.
B T: Another pretentious, hipster shop. Just what Oakland doesn't need...
Alex Kim: Great little store on Grand. Walk in and enjoy browsing the selections and appreciating the decorations around the rooms.

Irina Kanevskaya: Looks pretty hipster, nice and simple menu, amazing coffee
Mario Quispe: Great coffee skills here. Perfect espresso extractions. Noisy but doable. Don't miss the upstairs!
Kensie Smith: If you sit at the high bar in the balcony, don't drop your knife accidentally. Aftermath between the trajectory of object, gravitational pull & coffee at the bottom could be hazardous.
