Actually not that pricey for the amount and quality of food. Definitely try the escargot in creamy mushroom sauce. Skip dessert though.
Fantastic place next door to Shakespeare and Co. Highlights are escargot cooked in mushrooms & cream inside a puff pastry (picture), and steak cooked over an open charcoal inside the dining room.
Gréât place. Merges pub and cocktail bar perfectly. The food is on the level: the cheese and onion pasty, sausage roll and mushroom pie are delicious.
The small/mini cocktails are great! 7€ and a smaller drink.

One of my favorite places in Paris. Their specialty is tartar BUT do yourself a favor and try the faux filet with foie gras and mushroom sauce. Comes with a heavenly gratin.

Very good poached eggs with bacon and good coffee.. Overpriced special of the weekend, eggs with haddock, mushrooms, salad but no bread, not that tasty as well.
I got the egg plate with mushrooms and harsh brown. The mushrooms were fantastic. The group next to me ordered the savory stack with mushrooms instead of bacon. I'd love to try that next time.
