Miranda Onnen: Cowboy Stew is excellent, a great Mexican take on a classic beef stew. If going after 630, avoid the patio as the lighting gets dim and you feel like you're dining in the dark.
Michael Brent: The cowboy stew is wonderful, get it with the egg.
Phoenix New Times: The food is Southwestern all the way, with many of the flavors of Oaxaca and the Yucatán. The buttermilk chicken, Azteca soup, rock shrimp cocktail, and cowboy stew are all musts. Read more.
Scott Clark: Haven't had anything that I didn't love here. Green chili stew, BLT, The Acapulco Cheesesteak (yum!). Great selection of craft beers. This is a terrific place.
Wesley Keyser: $2.50 pints during happy hour (tue-sun 11am-6pm mon 11am-11pm)!! the olives are on point. And the green chile stew is the perfect amount of spicy and delicious!!

Steve Ramirez: Outstanding menu and service. The food is really good and the servers really know the menu and help with suggestions. Not your typical Mexican restaurant and typical Mexican menu.

Pete Harris: Asked for hot sauce and gave us what waiter called a Ghost pepper purée and it was excellent! Get it. Chicken & chorizo sandwich stood out (huge). For a side the chipotle grits are tasty!
Danny Neskorik: Food tasted fine but $14 for 3 tacos about the size of a 50 cent piece. Not impressed
David Anderson: The shrimp starter is fantastic, tender and lots of flavour. Also can't go wrong with the pork shoulder to share as a main - awesome.
