It's a Yoda statue. You can see a life size Darth Vader and Boba Fett in the adjacent building.
Get here early to avoid the hordes of mouth breathers... Just kidding, you can just walk right up. Really cool statue tucked away in the surrounding buildings.

Geographical center of town. Used to have a statue of olympus at the top. Some say it is also named after the original neighborhood milk man old limpus
The bench on the west side of the middle terrace is an immaculate sunset viewpoint.
What a beautiful section of the park to visit. Have a picnic, enjoy the flowers, check out the statues. I’ve biked through here and spent time relaxing in the grass. Both times were amazing.
A beautiful paradise, well worth the price of admission. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

Go to front door make a left to the outside wrap around path you can get am excellent view of the Columbus statue, the American Flag and alactraz!
It's funny that the Columbus statue is really different from the image that Europeans have of him. Great views!

The Ferry Building is very popular, and I recommend it to anyone who is visiting San Francisco. They've got great restaurants (Slanted Door, MarketBar) and a morning farmer's market a few times a week
