Try the tuna tartar, it's amazing. It is a disk of creamy avocado and the freshest tuna in a shallow pool of vinaigrette accented with a chili oil and a few sliced radishes for texture.
Come for Prix Fixe Lunch for $32! We enjoyed the Sea Trout Sashimi and the Parmesean Risotto with Mushrooms and Herbs. Be prepared to have a nice long lunch.
Their tasting menu is great for special occasions. Would highly recommend the tuna for first course, foie gras for the second, lobster for the third, and the chocolate set for dessert.

The tuna here is really good and overall the fish are all fresh. However, I go mainly for the tuna. This location is the best imo of all the Gari restaurants in NYC.

Bagels that are consistently crispy-skinned, light, chewy and made fresh throughout the day. We love the various choices of cream cheese and the incredible white fish salad.
NYC raved about this cosy spot. Run by friendly service, I loved the everything bagel with lox spread and Thai iced tea. Wow, do they give you your dollar's worth in that generous amount of spread.

The décor is overly trendy but the food is really classic and exceptional – try the Spinach Salad, the Miso Black Cod, the Crispy Rice Roll and if they have it, the King Salmon.

Great food. Order lots of appetizers and sides. The main courses are great but a sampling gives you more to try. The tuna tartare / poke (changes seasonally) is incredibly delicious.
The salmon tartare appetizer, the gnocchi, and the salmon entree were all very tasty! The gnocchi dish was quite small for an entree. The atmosphere is really nice.
This is my go to place for fish. The counter is great and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. The butcher counter is very nice too.

Generally the best fish in NYC. But I'm not impressed with their $14 a pound tuna salad. It's way too salty, too dry and doesn't have enough celery bits. Glad I only got 1/4 pound!
New and busy! Had to wait a bit for our reservation and service was a tad slow but food was pretty good and reasonably priced for the nice vibe. Definitely get a whole fish and share the spreads
Great space and great food. The tartare and fish dishes were extremely fresh and nice portions. Also, one of the most flavorful hummus’ we’ve ever had. Definitely coming back.
