Sarah Nelson: My go-to spot @ Pike Place. Stop here for an amazing baguette sandwich (+baked treat, +coffee), but come early- they sell out!

Sarah Nelson: An absolute gem- great for lunch/brunch or coffee meets. My favorite place to catch up with an old friend. (strangely enough- go for the BBQ sandwich)

Sarah Nelson: Omakase here is life changing. But make sure you go when Shiro is working, and sit at bar.

Sarah Nelson: No matter how few days I'm home, I make plans to eat here. Best Mexican in the PNW. The Mole will have you licking the plate. Halibut tacos are a must-have as well.

Sarah Nelson: Coconut cream pie. Even if you do not like coconut. You will not regret this choice.

Sarah Nelson: Biscuits. enough said.

Sarah Nelson: Fish Tacos & Margaritas overlooking Lake Union. Great for a summer day lunch

Sarah Nelson: Classic Seattle. Halibut n' chips with Clam Chowder on a rainy day.

Sarah Nelson: Diner dive with a killer brunch. Nelson family fav- The Hobo.

Sarah Nelson: Simple and well-executed farm to table fare.

Sarah Nelson: Known for the twice-baked almond croissant, but it's all good- including the coffee.

Sarah Nelson: Be prepared for long lines- but it's worth the wait.

Sarah Nelson: Wood oven fired vegetables, fish and meat. Exceptional.

Sarah Nelson: Good place to grab a pint [or upgraded gastropub fare]. Minimalist decor gives it a NW vibe.

Sarah Nelson: Perfect NY-style pizza in a laid back atmosphere. A classic.

Sarah Nelson: The infamous Dick's- best burger in town. Dick's Deluxe + Fries for under $5

Sarah Nelson: Good place to grab a sandwich in Pike Place- counter at the back.
