Fried chicken is the biznizzz - 4 gloriously crispy, juicy, flavor loaded pieces. And the burrata with pistachio pesto is better than you'll find at many an Italian restaurant.
Chef worked at the Meatball Shop and the Breslin before coming to this tiny LES eatery. Fatta Cuckoo excels at serving simple-yet-decadent twists on brunch fare like egg sandwiches and French toast.
Different types of mussels every night = awesome. Cocktails are a little hit or miss, but everything else on the menu is awesome. The chicken is one of the best dishes I've had downtown.
the table by the window is great for people watching. friendly staff, ever changing menu, stiff drinks. and desserts made by the chef's mom! double bonus.
Get the Marty. The Adult Dude is also great. 3 cocktails with your brunch, and it's a Saturday. Not to mention that Marty is an awesome owner and host.
"cozy" spot. Mac n cheese was nothing special. The grouper tacos were actually very good. I might come back if in the area but probably only for drinks
Sunday brunch-get 3 cocktails and 1 entree for $25. 'Fatta Scrambled'-eggs, guacomole and salad had fluffy eggs but small serving and no bread, $12. No soy milk here for coffee.
Local dining that doesn't take itself too seriously, after all, the name is Italian slang for "make crazy." What wont make you crazy? $8 cocktails. We knew you two would get along.
The a/c was broken which was brutal. Got "drunch". The Marty wasn't bad, the sangria is tiny, but overall the drinks are decent. Overall...affordable and not spectacular
Service is really sloooow. I had to chase down the waitress for the check. Drink special for brunch may seem like a steal (3 X + entree =$25) but they were watered down. Small portioned subpar food.
