Linds: Nothing quite like the upstairs library bar in NYC, closest comp is probably the Nomad Library. Cocktails were perfect, and the gimlet is made with yuzu instead of lime.
Juston Payne: It's absolutely vital you get the burnt miso ramen. Whether you're a "Ramen? That stuff from a packet?" person or an "I wait for 2 hours at NYC's Ippudo" snob (like me), you'll freak out it's so good.
Charles Chen: 3 words: Shio Yuzu Ramen. Mindblowingly delicious and unique. Umami-rich chicken broth base combined with a herbaceous, citrus note from the Yuzu is married flawlessly with thin Hakata-style noodles.
Jon Steinback: Go at the crack of dawn (like a bit before 5.30am) any day for the tuna auction, get a bowl of tuna sashimi at a stall, and then go take a nap at the hamarikyu botanical gardens nearby.
Jon Steinback: Maybe one of the happiest places on Earth. Buy a ticket at the kiosks at AM/PM the same day, but have a Japanese person help you; there is no English UI.
Hop Leaf Beer Hong Kong: Baird Beer taproom in Harajuku, offering delicious yakitori (chicken BBQ) and wide range of Baird beers, including their limited seasonal brews. We had the Temple Garden Yuzu Ale which was amazing.
