Tamas Dober: Just wonderful! Long, sandy beach, wonderful views, even when it was cloudy.

Tamas Dober: The sand was so nice, it was amazing. We saw some outrigger canoes, it was fun.

Tamas Dober: The area is quite busy. The guy receiving our order was super friendly, also helping us with the selection for the LBS Special. We loved the Kalbi and the Smoked Meat.

Tamas Dober: My wife just fall in love with this garden, especially with the hills behind it. We went back on our last day again. And it is free!

Tamas Dober: The turnip soup was great but the sizzling kalbi plate didn't live up to our expectations. Also noticed that cleaning the table was a bit too early.

Tamas Dober: Amazing poke! They are catering so there is no seating - but the food, man.. it was the highlight of the week!

Tamas Dober: Good food; we had the mixed plates - we could not eat all.

Tamas Dober: I liked the seafood plate in this traditional Japanese place. My wife had udon. Excellent service!

Tamas Dober: I was pleasantly surprised (I'm not a big fan of Chinese places, many of them mediocre). My spicy tofu was great and my wife loved the duck, too. The leftover was enough for me for the evening.

Tamas Dober: We had to learn to visit this in the morning - in Feb & March it was usually raining in the afternoon - and yes, it is definitely on the windward side of Oahu..:)

Tamas Dober: I loved their poke (spicy tuna & shoyu poke). We took out our food to eat it on the beach, it was great.

Tamas Dober: Very nice but you should come early to get parking!

Tamas Dober: My favorite beach! I didn't want to get out of the water, enjoying the great waves.

Tamas Dober: It was almost empty when we got there early in the morning - returning here at noon we could not get a parking. Wonderful sand.

Tamas Dober: Well, we didn't want to pay $15 per person to enter the park. It looked like the place hordes of tourists are being brought in. :(

Tamas Dober: We checked this out. Unfortunately we don't really like artificial beaches. I admit it's a question of taste.

Tamas Dober: I liked the way they made it a real memorial place to the lives lost here. It was midweek and the parking lot was full at 10.30. Make reservations online at least a day earlier!

Tamas Dober: Amazing lookout. Rough winds late afternoon; beautiful waves in the ocean.

Tamas Dober: It was late, we didn't have a chance to stop. It looked really beautiful. We have to visit next time.

Tamas Dober: I liked the idea of having a beer corner :) Nice variety of fruits otherwise.

Tamas Dober: Very nice lady served us real Hawaiian food. Next time we should try some poi. Accidentally we found this place just a couple of steps away we had Korean food 2 days earlier..

Tamas Dober: I loved the Furikake Salmon and my wife the mushroom steak!

Tamas Dober: One of the best hikes in Oahu! We could see some people in sandals; I wouldn't advice it though.Excellent views from the top.

Tamas Dober: Plumerias garden was nice. We did not have insects. Interesting feeling to walk around inside a crater. Coming from California it was a bit strange to see cacti/cactuses.

Tamas Dober: Can be quite crowded. Had to wait some time to watch a video.

Tamas Dober: We just loved this trail! The ocean was royal blue. Halfway up I had to stop to take lots of pictures. On the top there is an unbelievable lighthouse.

Tamas Dober: It was the very first poke in Oahu for us, just hours after the arrival - and it was great!

Tamas Dober: I had mahi-mahi until wife waited for Mixed Berry Crepes.

Tamas Dober: We had some amazing Thai sausages with some fried fish. The area is not the nicest though, lots of homeless people.

Tamas Dober: We wanted to find some present to take home but we were unlucky.

Tamas Dober: My wife was taken away with the experience.

Tamas Dober: Somehow we found a place with free parking, next to the beach.

Tamas Dober: The beach itself was nice. First time we saw homeless people around.

Tamas Dober: Another nice beach to visit.

Tamas Dober: One of our favorites. We were walking around; the island in front of us; the hills behind us. We went around to the to the Secret Island. It was a great hike!

Tamas Dober: Not a great place to wait for hours. They are PLANNING to have WiFi everywhere.

Tamas Dober: It was interesting to see the palace to understand the historical context of the monarchy.

Tamas Dober: You can not visit the stairs; actually just looking for it was troublesome; neighbors wanted to call the police onto us! Finally we caught a sight of it from the H3 freeway, before the second tunnel .

Tamas Dober: We loved walking around in the tide pools.

Tamas Dober: We just peeked in but decided not to wait an hour. Next time!
