Nash Pleasant: Great dive in Times Square with cheap booze. Great tunes on the juke box
Esquire: Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. Boxing posters and Christmas lights: a perfect place. Get a $3 Bud Light.
Village Voice: One of the few places near Times Square NOT packed with tourists, escape the commotion and if you’re lucky Jimmy himself might be around to make you a signature Hurricane.

Ladii Dimplezzz: Love, love this place. Great atmosphere, service, drinks and a giant jenga in the middle of the backroom!
Mary Doyle: My favorite bar in Harlem. A real jukebox (no touch screen!), giant Jenga, shuffleboard, and big buck hunter. Plus beers are cheap.
Alex Fish: The HP and Leaning Tower Grilled Cheese options are on point
Rob H: Great east village dive. Cheap beer and buck hunter. So yes, I end up here regularly.
Men's Health Mag: If you have the energy to close out a night right, this is the place to do it. They filmed some of Crocodile Dundee and Godfather II here, to give you a sense of its grand tattered quality.
Uber NYC: An East Village institution, you'll often see film shoots at this bar. Lots of inexpensive beers, but you can also class up with your evening with some champagne. A dive bar with Dom P. :)

Matt Doherty: This place has history for a lot of people. Have a beer over your next big idea here. I told myself I wanted to move to NYC at this bar, 8 months later I moved down the block without even realizing it
Clayton: No frills, just sharks.
Nicky Petroni: Cheap drinks, good vibes, and a great place to start your night out
Lisa: I was digging the music, you can't go wrong with 90's pop.
Dustin Haley: Small, but good little gay bar that definitely had a more local feel to it than some others I had visited.

Stefano Battaglia: In this Communist-themed bar you'll find dimmed lights and a friendly Barman with excellent taste in music (the mission and my bloody valentine among the others)! Well worth a visit if you're in NYC
Janice: Feels like a Communist when I'm here. Uh-oh parents wouldn't like that, would they...?
Sherry Citron: Came back after 10 years and still the same awesome place. Erik is still the best!

New York Habitat: This bar is great when you are a Jazz music fan! Join the Tuesday night jam, it starts at 12 am. :-)
Village Voice: Secret tip: this dive bar has a pool table and jukebox all the way in the back. Check out their late-night ragtime shows on Tuesdays!
