The Doors performed back-to-back shows here in December of 1965. These dates were a couple of the first ever performances by the band.
One of the greatest landmark theaters in Los Angeles. The screen is massive and the sound system is amazing. Try to arrive early to get seats in the middle. There is a balcony too, but sit floor.
Four words: “Twilight Red Carpet Premiere!” Head to these theatres in Westwood and, who knows, maybe you will sit in the same sit Rob Pattinson did! This is a beautiful theatre. –Jeannie
Beautiful theater, old style, and so big. Large screen, comfortable seats, good visibility. Try to attend a premiere here and walk on the red carpet. It rocks!
A wonderful park with a beautiful story!
One of the best parks in L.A. - centrally located and full of slides, climbing bars, and a nice big sand pit. Ice cream truck always stop by (blessing or curse?). Too hot - picnic under the trees.
Photo doesn't really do it justice – there are essentially five playgrounds within one playground here. Lots of open green space where you can bring a ball and kick or throw it around.

Bruins have been going to the Fox Theater since it was opened in 1931. Try and catch a red carpet premiere.
Great historic theatre, friendly staff and management, and the balcony seating is top notch. Dolby atmos equipped now too.
Great for local families with tennis courts, two playgrounds & lots of picnic area.
Beautiful place to spend an afternoon. If you work near by and have a lunch break, take a walk around the park! Ice cream sellers everywhere and plenty of beautiful sunshine.

Not a bad seat in the house. The seats are cushy but the seats are weird and force you to slouch. Lovely theater overall.
Mind the parking hour times. Almost had to stay the night in Westwood to pick my vehicle up.
one of my favorite venues to catch a play. rush tickets are released 30 min before curtain for $37, $10 for students. park in the trader joe's structure for $5-6 and cut through the city target alley.
