At empire tavern. There are slick iPads but no sense of urgency or confirmation your order is coming I suppose that is a function of paying and tipping before you get your food.

Delta terminal C actually makes this place feel like a modern airport, as opposed to everything else trapped in 1968.
the easiest way to get here is take th N train to the Astoria Blvd stop. exit on the east side to the triangle and catch the M60 bus. American Airlines is 1st stop, Delta is 2nd...
United terminal is in dire need of carpet and upgrades. I suggest Jet Blue or Delta

US Airways & American for bag drop and service is awful, takes forever and the staff give you the impression that you should be grateful for being in their presence.

Spirit air. Dont even consider it. Forget about fast bag drop Everyone bought their tkt online. Everyone prepaid their bag- all 50 people on an hour line. & adv. curbside bag drop doesn't exist
if you're flying Delta, go see how delayed your flight is, then go hang by Gate 1 with the power stations and iPads.

The Delta terminal was renovated in Aug/Sept 2010, which greatly improved the food scene. Try the veggie omelette at Prime Tavern.

There is nothing good to eat inside security at the central terminal, but there's an extensive food court before security. If you're hungry, eat first, security second.

I'm seeing improvements here -now this place has a priority lane for security! Still terminal b is the crappiest most ghetto terminal ever.
Choose Delta when flying out of LGA, they give the other airlines the older terminals.

sydney sFebruary 26, 2015Terminal C 1-14.... Ice cold in the winter. They keep doors open for the shuttle you have to take that is poorly advertised, slow and unorganized. I cannot speak for the rest of the airport, however.

Central Terminal Security for A Gates: TSA is a joke. The move with no regard to urgency and have personal conversations with colleagues while watching the screening process,making things even slower.

Nina VanniceFebruary 24, 2015If u have just arrived n r waiting on someone else flight to arrive. Do not leave the waiting area for baggage claim because you cannot go back. Baggage/arrivals has no seating n is super cold
CIBO Express in Terminal C has lots of vegan options.
More convenient & quicker than both EWR & JFK. Nevertheless, Trump called this airport "third world."

John McTigueMarch 22, 2013Wow I've been coming to LGA for more than 50 years, and it hasn't changed at all in that time. That's not a good thing for an airport.
Southwest and American terminals are the worst. Only fly Delta out of LGA. You can offer booze from wherever you're sitting!
Pay attention and check your gate often. Many changes in Delta Terminal C today.
Tale off your shoes, or at least unlace them, right after the first TSA ID check. It helps speed up the process.
