- Early am flights are the best. Never a wait or line at security.

- If you're flying American Airlines you may as well book yourself on another flight. If your flight isn't canceled it will at the very least be late.

- Okay, so not the sexiest nor most efficient airport... but you know what? Who cares? You're probably going on vacation! Or, at least, I am. See you, suckaz!
- To get to the city, take the supershuttle or train. Supershuttle is only $14 to take you anywhere in Manhattan
- Charles de Gaule used to be my least favorite airport, but LGA has now replaced it. Horribly inefficient to get between terminals, rent a car, or taxi. Looks like Uber is the only way
- The gates within each terminal are not connected, so if you have a connecting flight in a different gate, you have to go through security again.
- Don't expect much, but look outside your plane for Shea Stadium (yes-not Citi Field) when you take off/land

- Delta Marina Terminal is only for Delta flights to/from Chicago, Boston, & Washington. All other flights go out of regular terminal.
- There is massive construction. Give yourself 2-4 extra hours to get to your terminal.
- Oh man, this ugly airport really is as bad as they say. I'll take JFK any day of the week, even having to pay for AirTrain.
