Early am flights are the best. Never a wait or line at security.
Tip your pilot and flight attendants. They work very hard.

If you're flying American Airlines you may as well book yourself on another flight. If your flight isn't canceled it will at the very least be late.
Have to hate T-B, all those construction boards taking off space for seats

Okay, so not the sexiest nor most efficient airport... but you know what? Who cares? You're probably going on vacation! Or, at least, I am. See you, suckaz!
To get to the city, take the supershuttle or train. Supershuttle is only $14 to take you anywhere in Manhattan
Charles de Gaule used to be my least favorite airport, but LGA has now replaced it. Horribly inefficient to get between terminals, rent a car, or taxi. Looks like Uber is the only way
The gates within each terminal are not connected, so if you have a connecting flight in a different gate, you have to go through security again.
Don't expect much, but look outside your plane for Shea Stadium (yes-not Citi Field) when you take off/land

If you want to pretend you're visiting a third world country instead of New York City, Terminal B never disappoints those who think travel is a hassle.

Try to allocate 20-30 minutes to get through security. If you're flying domestic, please arrive to your gate 30 minutes before your departure.

Anyone with TSA precheck should avoid this airport. There is no line here, and though you can keep your shoes on in the regular line none of the other perks apply.

Delta Marina Terminal is only for Delta flights to/from Chicago, Boston, & Washington. All other flights go out of regular terminal.
There is massive construction. Give yourself 2-4 extra hours to get to your terminal.
Oh man, this ugly airport really is as bad as they say. I'll take JFK any day of the week, even having to pay for AirTrain.

Delta flies out of terminal C & D. If you go through security at either one, they connect on the inside.
Hard to get to, lots of construction-related traffic, and flights are always delayed.
