- You can buy MTA metrocard in from the maching in Terminal D or from the vendor stands in other terminals.
- Need the washroom after landing? Wait til you get to baggage. Equally gross bit often less crowded.

- The Centurion Lounge wins the pre-security lounge wars at LGA. Use your Amex Platinum Card or $50 to get in.
- American Airlines has power at almost every seat in the waiting area of Terminal D.
- Hit up the bar in the southwest terminal if you're hungover, it's the only possible way to deal with LGA

- The women's bathroom at the far end of baggage claim is hardly ever crowded, as opposed to the ones throughout the terminals.
- Grab something half decent to eat at Au Bon Pain in the American terminal before you go through security.
- New express security screening is very fast and easy. You keep all clothes and shoes on!
- The shuttle bus from the subway has actually gotten a lot smoother.

- ESTHERJuly 13, 2016Easy to get to gates but it is weird you had to take your own bags to put in plane.
- Skip the taxi line and take an Uber home. The cost is roughly equal to a cab and way less stressful.
- Don't worry. There's a shuttle to take you between Delta flights in Terminals C and D.
- Stop by Bisoux (Terminal D) and grab a Death's Door White Whisky cocktail or highball!
- WORST airport EVER for retrieving lost luggage. Told 4 different times that it was found & being delivered. 24 hours later it is STILL sitting in lost baggage. NO EXCUSE!! AND it was a DIRECT flight!!

- When arriving you should have your friends or family pick you up at departure gates... Less crowded!
- LGA a mess right now. Give yourself extra time and be patient.
- After my 1hr. 45min. turbulent as fuck flight they announce that we're going to have to sit patiently in the plane for another 30mins or so until a gate opens up for us. -_- fml

- Hermann MazardNovember 22, 2010Take the #2/ #3/ #4/ #5 train to 125th Street and catch the M60 bus to the airport. Total cost $2.25; total time to / from midtown 46 minutes.
- Flying on Delta to DCA, BOS or ORD? Go to the Marine Air Terminal instead. Or take the Golden Touch shuttle.
- The "welcome center" takes a cut of shuttle bookings--if you are a party of 3 a cab may be less, and for 2 its not much more since the shuttles charge per person while cabs are per ride.
- Always check with your airline the status of your flight!
- Go Jet Blue!!! We flew up the Hudson, due to air traffic. It was gorgeous!!! A great way to end my trip. TY
- FairleighNovember 6, 2012Significantly grosser than JFK but marginally better when it comes to crowds. Also the commute to Manhattan is shorter and less trafficky.
- The Brooklyn Bridge Marriott is a great place to stay. About $30 for a taxi from LGA.

- LC AresJuly 4, 2014To Go from terminal A to C was an ordeal. No indications, personnel is hard to understand. You have to leave security, take the "B route bus" at ground transportation. Reenter security again at Term C
