If you're headed to Brooklyn, skip the yellow cab line and call a car. It's much cheaper and saves you waiting in the taxi line from hell. My pick is BRD (718) 384-4444

Delta terminal needs better food options (get a food chain in there), but there's lots of outlets
Chris KennedyMay 2, 2022Terminal D has lots of security staff to help you get on your way. Trouble is; they are all trying to sell a $100 upgrade to get through a very very long security line caused by lack of staff.

Save you baggage ticket when you arrive in lga if you checked a bag. They force you to prove you to go through security to take it out. Only airport in the nation that inconsiderate.
Always book your flights weeks in advance so you don't have to fly American.

Order a burger from Pat Lafrieda's when you are there, best burger bar none!
Hard to get to, lots of construction-related traffic, and flights are always delayed.
Drinking fountain at gate 5 in concourse C (yeah the little one next to the fire hose signs - not exactly sexy, but it's water!)
Need the washroom after landing? Wait til you get to baggage. Equally gross bit often less crowded.
When frequenting USScare, sit in an aisle seat. Better for when you bang your head on he seat due to repeated delays.- Food market can be a little confusing. No big name brands but decent options for all types of food. Artichoke is just okay for 🍕.
You guys notice how the TSA here is friendlier ever since the new terminals opened??
At the Delta terminal, get food and drinks delivered to you off iPads and swipe your credit card right into the table. Pretty slick.
Book a left side window seat for views of Manhattan for flights northbound. Right side for return flights southbound.
Elizabeth GiblinAugust 14, 2019Between all the construction, the transit system not able to pick up/drop off at all terminals and the mess of a food court inside terminal D - total cluster!!!- Pickups for Uber, Lyft, etc can be difficult as crosswalk markings aren't at all clear. Call your driver as they get near.

Coming in on a Sunday around 4pm/5pmish traffic is a brute, so plan accordingly because you will be in traffic for a bit
There are water refilling stations at LGA! Don't spend $8 on a bottle of water. Bring an empty water bottle and fill it up.
