If you need a taxi when arriving at Terminal D, you’ll need to take a taxi shuttle bus to where the taxis are waiting. Due to construction, taxis are picking up outside of the airport.

If you ar flying make sure you go to the right terminal if ur going to boston, DC or Chicago ur likely on Delta shuttle which is marne terminal A if u screwed up there is a shuttle bus...
I can not stand this airport-B terminal in particular. Everyone is crammed in like sardines under a low ceiling-you can feel all the germs in the hot air.
This place is no different than the NY Port Authority. The only difference is that there's actually ppl telling you where to go because of TSA minimum standards.
Highly recommended when looking to catch a flight. Even then that's a stretch, though. Fly on Christmas if you can its quiet and flights are on time!
Yes it can be very stressful here. Arrive plenty early and take advantage of enriching your cultural knowledge.
I'm liking the new walkway that connects terminal D to C...very refreshing. Now time for NYPA to get the funds together for an outer facelift...especially to American's terminal.

If you're leaving from A gates and have priority access, use regular security lane for faster service. EVERYONE has priority access, and TSA alternates taking 1 from each line.
For car rentals, take the Red Line bus shuttle to the rental car stop which is included with Terminal A

Perhaps the PANYNJ ought to show NYC some respect and upgrade LGA. ITS A THIRD WORKD AIRPORT IN A FIRST WORLD CITY! This is a disgrace and insult to NYC.
Terminal c and d have good places to order food and drinks. Sit down by an iPad and order away.

Terminal D is where it’s at! Legit food at Rossi & so much natural light ✨- Lots of construction = lots of traffic on the approach. Give ample time (+1 hour) to get to your terminal. Also, terminal B had zero food options, so plan ahead.
Convenient and friendly. Security is quick. Curbside check-in is totally worth it!

- Major construction going on now through 2020. Expect long wait times for getting in and out via car, bus, shuttles.

Certain someone used somewhat colorful language to describe this airport a while ago but in essence I don't disagree. Compared with many other airports I frequent, this definitely needs upgrade
If you have an Amex Platinum or above, check out the new Centurion Lounge. An oasis in what's otherwise a fairly sad airport.

Ariel HermanMay 28, 2017Construction and congestion is terrible. If departing/arriving in the afternoon or evening plan lots of extra time, check your flight for delays, and confirm your terminal and gate carefully prior.

Air Canada is placed at the a**end of concourse B. Its a wasteland both in look and amenities; compared to least civilized airports that exist in the remotest of 3rd world countries, LaGuardia SUX!
