- It's the cheapest cab ride from most of NYC, but if you have a layover here make it a short one.
- WendyNovember 27, 2013American Airlines gates at Terminal B offer lots of plugs for necessary re-charge & meet ups! Nice people sharing outlets, too.
- FlightCenter.comJanuary 3, 2012TSA TIP #4 When loading your belongings onto the x-ray belts load them in an order to help expedite at the other end. THINK, (a) suit case first, (b) laptop bags/purse, & (c) your shoe & belts tray.
- The Delta terminal is the only nice one. Get a window seat and you might get some Instagram worthy pics of Manhattan.
- SailorMarch 19, 2018Aunt Anne Pretzels are he best thing about this entire airport, hurry up and finish that new terminal!
- If you can, try to fly out of Terminal A. It's the original terminal of the airport, super small, no lines at security, and Delta gives you free coffee!
- LaGuardia Airport (LGA)November 26, 2013Starting at 11am tomorrow, stop by the #FiveGuys #LGA Terminal B location, say secret code “Save the Turkeys, give me my burger" to the cashier & win a free $10 gift card! First 10 passengers win!
- If you go to Au Bon Pain and want the yogurt, get the smaller 8 oz size even though you can get the 16 oz for like a dollar more. You don't need that much yogurt.
- The best thing about LGA is the Amex Centurion Club. (You must be an Amex Platinum card holder to have access).
- Get here early! May 2016: security lines were LONG at 7am on a Friday Terminal B Gate C - even with pre-check. Thankfully I was saved by a United agent trying to clear the flight!
- John PasierbowiczJanuary 3, 2013look for the priority line at each security checkpoint as it will save you time if you qualify. Especially if someone breaches security so everyone there has to go through security a second time!
- Antoinette WallaceMay 12, 2013Had the most pleasant experience from the staff of Spirit Airlines. Absolutely shocked. They were very accommodating and the plane isn't as bad as I thought. JetBlue will always win the trophy though
- JwowFebruary 27, 2015For the best aerial view of NYC sit on the left side of the plane for takeoff form LaGuardia!
- If you had to get stuck in a Delta terminal, this is the one you'd want to be stuck in. Plugs are plentiful, iPads for entertainment/ordering food are abundant and seating is everywhere. Not bad.
- Vivienne GucwaMay 18, 2014Forget about food and drinks if you are stuck in C. Just a minimal assortment of Hudson News and Annie's Pretzels (literally). People are an afterthought here.
- The #nyc airport is becoming one of the top networking hubs for professionals with new #digipreneur tools throughout. Fast processing hut get to #LGA an hour early.
- Make sure to stop at Fresthetic in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for some fresh tees, accessories and Art. A must when visiting NYC
- KaitlynAugust 21, 2013Eat before you come or bring food with you. Pretty small and crappy inside to say it's NYC, usually cheaper than JFK though. Being empty drink container & fill up after security check
- Lowest prices guaranteed for Preferred Guests on Rovia. Http://MyConquest.Rovia.com. Log in and see for yourself!! RateShrinker technology sends you a refund when your flight or hotel price lowers!
- Angela WJanuary 23, 2013Hungry? Check out Artichoke in terminal C and try their margarita pizza! Best $5 airport meal ever.
- Andrew RivkinOctober 7, 2014The centurion lounge is amazing. One of the best airport lounges I've been too.
- Flying AA? There are two cab lines when leaving LGA. When you get to bag claim, take a right when you step outside, go all the way to the end. It's a much shorter line. There are always cabs waiting
- Delta has a great restaurant called CRUST near gate 1 - Best offering outside of JFK and JetBlue's T5 I have seen at an airport
- 13 minutes from midtown East on a good day. Small and cramped but decent food in the Delta terminals C & D.
- Ken LukMarch 5, 2014After experiencing Pearson on a regular basis, it's very strange to see an airport with regular height ceilings (12ft). Looks like the lower level of Union Stn.
- Todd HamiltonApril 21, 2015One of the more unpleasant flying experiences that you can have, though there is an effort to modernize the antiquated terminals.
- If you have the option - choose LGA over JFK. Much smaller and quicker moving through and much closer to the city
- Jeffrey-Ryan B.October 21, 2013This airport is the one in the New York area that is the most difficult to get to unless by car, taxi, private car service or shared ride can service
- Trying to find an uber on the arrivals level is a great test of patience. I wish you luck.
- This airport gets a bad rap but is the easiest to get in and out. There are super limited food and drink choices in American Airlines terminal.
- Here's my tip. Do everything in your power to get the hell out of this airport at your fastest pace. This place is the werst. We need a new spelling for how miserable of a building collection it is.
- If you are in terminal B. choose the right side of the two security lines before the TSA. This feeds two scanning lines as opposed to just one!
- Kelvin LeeMay 14, 2015Even though Term D is for domestic flights, some international flights still use it, and there is NO duty free. So grab your liquor and smokes BEFORE!
- Terminal B has no real food options beyond security. So eat before coming through.
- Hesham SalmanApril 14, 2018Getting out of here via public transport or ride sharing apps is a nightmare. Driving here is a nightmare.
- It's fine. iPads everywhere, even when you sit at a restaurant. You have to move it aside to chat with the person you are with. Oh, and you have to order all foods through the app on the iPad.
- Think of it like a NY subway or bus station but for airplanes. Sparse food and beverage accommodations. If you're in and out, it's not a bad airport.
- ℋumorousJune 7, 2012If you take a Viagra while waiting in the security queue, it will still work by the time you get to the body scanner! ☺
- If you fly American - go downstairs - great healthy food store and a great baseball cap store. :-)
- If you are departing from terminal C, and have TSA Precheck, get dropped off at door 1.
- Carol Ann SchwartzOctober 16, 2013The Delta food terminal is GREAT good choices good music tons of plus at gate tables too!
- Think of the best airport in the world with the most thought out process on getting in and out. Then take all its garbage and dump it in Queens.
- Clifford RyanJuly 16, 2013Get a MetroPass at the airport (or $2.50 in quarters) and get on the Q33 bus to Roosevelt Ave Bus Terminal (last stop). Transfer to the 7, E, F, M or R train, depending on where you are headed.
- Travel + LeisureJuly 30, 2012Didn’t have time to shop in the city? Head to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Store in the Central Terminal, selling everything from canvas prints to handcrafted jewelry.
- FYI, toothpaste cannot be more than 3 oz in your carry on. TSA is worried you might use it in a hostile takeover of the airplane and everyone will have minty fresh breath.
- Paul TroupeAugust 17, 2014Best way to get out is through the metro. Cab line is long. Get here early, even though your flight will be late
- TIPTOP TIP; Food Court food is better with more variety. If you are passed security and can stow your luggage, get a 'pink card' as you leave security, get your food and walk by the 30' long line!
- Terminal C & D are where it’s at! Delta remodeled years ago and it allows you to side steps the construction of B.
