Jon Wallett: If you're looking for old school French bistro action this is your spot. Go for the pate, the octopus salad and the steak & frites.. probably one of the best in the city. Tarot reader is added bonus!
Mari: Try not to let the crowdedness of this place scare you off. This is a soho staple and it's amazing. Sit at the bar or get a table in the back. Order everything.
Mari: Oh man, the burger au poivre is so good. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Only available at the bar and not even listed on the menu yet.

Dens: From what I gather, one of the last places east of Broadway still serving bernaise sauce w/ their steak frites. Also one of the few spots I've found that stocks Bruichladdich (scotch). Get both.

Chad Horner: Charlie Bird is a hip restaurant, but in a welcoming, unintimidating way. for brunch I highly recommend the farro salad, and the patio seating if the weather is cooperating!
