One of my absolute favorite places in San Fran! Gorgeous views, dog friendly, perfect for a long walk/picnic/run. Always a bit chilly/windy so plan accordingly. Tons of history, architecture, etc.

Behind the waterfall are the inscriptions of some of MLK Jr's speeches, while just above the waterfall is a great vista of the SFMOMA and part of SF's downtown skyline.
I love this park, it has it all. Off leash dog park on one side, playground and lawn to lay out in on the other. Paved paths throughout to walk around on and the best view of the painted ladies!
Great place to just soak in SF. You’ll find people walking their dogs, flying kites, running & just relaxing on the grass. Historic homes lie alongside. Great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and bay.
Do laps of the Panhandle on Sundays during Rollerblading Frenzy Hour. Helmets and a poor sense of balance are the only requirements.
Great place to eat lunch! Climb the hill with a lunch to go, eat, and watch the dogs run around adorably. After lunch head to Grace Cathedral.
